I love these movies!  If you haven't purchased these DVDs or read the books, yet, I highly encourage it!  And, if you buy the DVDs, make sure to get the deluxe 4 disc versions that have about an hour of "extra" footage per movie.  This footage isn't really "extra" - it actually all goes together, supports the story and comes from the books throughout all 3 movies.  They were just cut for time, unlike most "deleted scenes".  I personally suggest watching the movies prior to reading the books.  Scroll down past the purchase items (I'm not trying to get rich - just want to make sure everyone sees these extended movies and reads the books!) to see the items I own (photo galleries).
